We offer many volunteer and employment opportunities!
The Lee Conlee House welcomes volunteers to work with us in one or more of our many areas of need. Volunteers that wish to work directly with survivors seeking services are required to participate in a 24-hour training class that is offered periodically by professionals at the Lee Conlee House. This training requires six additional hours of supervised direct-service work. Volunteer areas include:
- Assisting with support groups
- Answering the hotline
- Working Special Events
- Fundraising
- Mentoring
- Sorting donations
- Providing administrative/office work
- Providing transportation
- Working during special activities with residents, such as in our cooking, art and music classes, etc.
- Rocking babies
- Playing with children
- Participating in our Story/Circle time with kids
